Every year when the new iPhones are launched, it is also followed by a host of accessories from different brands across the world. With the iPhone 16 (review) series too there has been a range of new accessories launched to woo those looking to upgrade their iPhones. We look at some of the more interesting ones we have got for review. Alogic Yoga 3-in-1 wireless charger A very compact device, the Alogic Yoga 3-in-1 wireless charger is smaller than a small battery pack and opens up to reveal a Magsafe charging pad up front and charging docs for the Apple Watch and AirPods inside. For an Apple user like me, this is a great on-the-move accessory given that otherwise, I have to carry at least the wall charger and Apple Watch charger separately. With this, all your charging needs are taken care of. The Alogic Yoga 3-in-1 wireless charger uses a USB-C charging cable and has a white LED light on the front to show you if the charging is on. The only flip side seems to be the white body which can get dirty inside a bag or on an office table. At Rs 3,990, this is a value-for-money device which every Apple lover should have in their armoury. DailyObjects SURGE Max Foldaway 3-In-1 Magnetic MagSafe Wireless Charger This is a more evolved version of the Alogic Yoga and more compact, though a bit on the heavier side given its metal build. The DailyObjects SURGE Max Foldaway opens up with three folds — the front for the Magsafe charger, the second fold for the Apple Watch and the base for the AirPods or any other truly wireless earphones. The build quality is very good as you would expect from Daily Objects and the iPhone too sticks a bit more tightly to the charger than with others. Plus, the Apple Watch charger folds out of the body so that you can rest it easily on this base. This too is great for travel or to keep on your desk. The Rs 5,999 price tag is justified by the top-notch build quality and design aesthetics. DailyObjects SURGE Magnetic MagSafe Wireless Battery Pack The fact is that we are not always near a power source when the phone runs out of juice, nor are we in a position to be tied down to a charging location for a few minutes always. The DailyObjects SURGE is a 10,000 mAh battery pack with a MagSafe surface on which even the AirPods can charge. No this does not have anything for Apple Watch. The SURGE is quite compact, but a bit heavy given that this is a 10,000 mAh battery. There is a power button on the side to switch it on and off. There is a kickstand to make the pack stand upright to charge your phone. On the rear is a small LED panel where you can see the charge percentage of the pack and a green indicator if the pack is charging. The USB port can be used to charge phones directly too, and often this is a faster option. At Rs 5,399, the DailyObjects SURGE is a good option for those on the move with multiple devices. iPhone 16 Pro Max cases Apple clear case: Most people buy Apple cases with their phones. This time Apple has added a native button in the case for the Camera Controls. The clear case is a good way to show off the colour you have invested in. The case should last at least a year before it becomes not too clear with all the scratches. Rs 4,900. Beats MagSafe Case: Apple-owned Beats by Dre is also in the market with its own cases. The one I got had an Apple leather case feel inside, but the softest, smoothest plastic cover outside. While this Blue case was classy and great to the touch, it kept giving me the feeling the iPhone will slip out of my hand any time. Rs 4,900. DailyObjects: A more stylish design, this option from DailyObjects felt like something that will last and also make the phone inside last longer. The case has rubber-like edges and clear surfaces, with a single cutout for the camera module. However, for the Camera Control button, the case just offers a groove and no button as such. Rs 999.
