IFA 2016: Asus ZenWatch 3 with circular design unveiled

The watch also features an ambient light sensor and a 6-Axis Gyro. The battery on the device is 340 mAh with quick-charge capability. ZenWatch 3 will be available in three colour options – Silver, Gunmetal and RoseGold. It will feature Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The company claims that the watch features cold forged craftsmanship, that makes for an 82 per cent stronger device. The stainless steel watch has a three button design of the watch is said to give the user a more intuitive experience. The smartwatches are hand finished and the wristbands on the watches are made from Italian leather.

Asus tweeted out the price of the ZenWatch 3 as 229 Euro.

Asus ZenWatch 3 carries a remarkable resemblance to Huawei Watch, Motorola Moto 360 (second gen) and Samsung Gear S2. Since newer smartwatches with circular designs have had some success with the audience, it was expected of Asus to lean in favour of the same design as well. The best-selling smartwatch in the market is the Apple Watch, which features a rectangular design like the ZenWatch 1 and 2.
