Dyson's new Hot+Cool purifiers offer heating, cooling, and high-efficiency air purification for year-round use. With pollution levels soaring across Indian cities this winter, Dyson has unveiled two new additions to its purifier lineup. The all-new Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP2 De-NOx (HP12) and the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1 combine air purification and intelligent heating in a single device, developed to combat rising indoor pollution during the smog season.
Both purifiers come with Dyson’s latest sensing, filtration, and airflow technologies that capture harmful pollutants such as nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10). These pollutants are common in Indian households during winter, and they emanate from vehicle emissions, cooking, and industrial pollution.
The company claims that the new machines are capable of capturing 99.95 per cent of particles as small as 0.1 microns, thanks to a fully sealed filtration system.
The HP1 model features an HEPA H13 and activated carbon filter that essentially traps ultrafine pollutants and household odours. On the other hand, the higher-end HP2 De-NOx version introduces Dyson’s most advanced gas-capture system to date, which is a new K-Carbon filter. According to the company, this system captures 50 per cent more nitrogen dioxide than traditional carbon filters while also destroying formaldehyde.
Both models use Dyson’s signature Air Multiplier technology to project over 290 litres of purified air per second across the room, paired with 350-degree oscillation for whole-room coverage. The dual-mode design lets the devices automatically maintain a set temperature during cooler months or switch to powerful cooling when needed, offering year-round comfort in a single machine.
Users can monitor air quality, control heating or cooling, and schedule operations remotely through the MyDyson app, or use voice commands via Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri. Also, built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support allow users to track real-time air-quality data and access product support directly from their phones.
Priced at Rs 68,900 for the HP2 De-NOx and Rs 56,900 for the HP1, the new Dyson purifiers are available in multiple colour options across Dyson stores and Dyson.in.
