AI powerhouse, OpenAI has released some new features for its sensational chatbot, ChatGPT. The new features allow the chatbot to show suggested follow-up prompts at the bottom of its responses. The new features were announced by the company via a tweet on its official Twitter handle.

OpenAI in its tweet said that it is rolling out a bunch of small updates that will improve the ChatGPT experience. These features will be shipped over the next week, the company said. The new features include prompt examples, suggested replies, GPT-4 by default, upload multiple files, stay logged in and keyboard shortcuts.

With the prompt examples feature, users can now see examples of prompts to help them frame their queries better. This will replace the blank page and offer users a push to get started. The suggest replies feature will let users go deeper with a click. With this feature, ChatGPT now suggests relevant ways to continue the conversation.

Another interesting feature is GPT-4  being set as default. While earlier ChatGPT offered GPT-3.5 as default for Plus users, and they would be required to toggle to GPT-4 to access it. With the latest update, GPT-4 will now be the default. “When starting a new chat as a Plus user, ChatGPT will remember your previously selected model — no more defaulting back to GPT-3.5,” OpenAI said.

Moreover, users will be able to make the most of ChatGPT as the chatbot will allow them to upload multiple files. ChatGPT will now analyse data and generate insights across multiple files. However, it needs to be noted that this feature will be available with Code Interpreter beta for all Plus users.

OpenAI has said that its new update will also let users stay logged in longer. The company said that users will no longer be logged out of their accounts every two weeks. “When you do need to log in, you’ll be greeted with a much more welcoming page,” said the company.

Besides, now users can access ChatGPT functions in a faster and more efficient way. The company has introduced shortcuts Ctrl + Shift + C to copy code blocks. To see the complete list of shortcuts, users need to hit CTRL + / on their keyboards.

ChatGPT Plus subscription comes at Rs 1,999 for Indian users.
