Bumrah to wbol the last over of the powerplay and Nair with a flick of his wrists to send the first ball over the ropes with a SIX!! A dot next before Nair finds another gap to get another four!! Nair is absolutely on fire!! Oh dear!! A slower ball next and Nair just strokes it over long on for a SIX!! This is one of the best bowlers in the world who Nair is making look ordinary. Two to end and a 50 for Nair!!!

Chahar continues and Porel with a swivel pull for a four!!! Brilliant fielding next by Pandya to save a boundary. Nair back on strike and he smacks the 4th delivery over the covers for another 4!! 50-run partnership up!! A single next and ends with a dot.

Here's Bumrah and starts with a slow ball as Porel defends before a single that turns to 2 because of the overthrows. And Nair gets another four!! Chipped over the infield and goes racing to the boundary. Finds the gap again and slaps the last ball to the deep backward point boundary!!

Chahar will continue and yields just 2 singles off the first 2 deliveries. Nair with a pull next, it goes wide of the keeper again and another boundary!! A single next to go off strike and Porel can see this one off. 9 fromthe over.

Boult to bowl the second over and Porel goes off strike with a single. Nair on strike and he just guides the next ball through the covers for a four!! Follows that up with another drive through the covers for 4 more!! Oh no, it gets worse for Boult as he errs in line and it flies beyond the keeper for 5 wides. And Nair with another gorgeous strike to get another boundary!!

Mitchell Starc brought back and Naman misses the first delivery before getting a bat to the second ball for a boundary to fine leg. Picks the gap again and he flicks it to deep midwicket for another four!! Starc has been expensive in this match. Oh my word!! Naman hits a straight shot and a flying Axar Patel pulls off a miraculous jump to save 5 runs!!! That looked destined for a six!! A wide yorker that is dug out of the ground for a 4 to end.

MI 180/4 after 18 overs 

Mohit Sharma back in the attack and Naman with a six to start this one off!! A single next and Tilak slams a boundary to get to his fifty!!! An LBW review now as Tilak is given out by the onfield umpire. And it's pitching leg. Tilak survives.

MI 167/4 after 17 overs

Kuldeep Yadav to bowl the 16th over and that's another confusion near the boundary ropes between two DC players which results in a four!! 2 singles from the next two balls. 2 runs to end. Kuldeep's spell ends.

MI 154/4 after 6 overs

Vipraj Nigam continues and Hardik tries to clear the long on ropes before the ball turned late and it just holes out to Stubbs near the rope. Another first ball wicket from another over!!

Kuldeep back in the attack and he has struck again!! Surya goes for a big hit and Starc has taken the catch safely. MI though are still pretty comfortable.

Vipraj back and is greeted with a four and a six by SKY!! Absolute belligerant batting!! And there's a confusion near the boundary only for Tilak to reap the benifits with a four!! Huge over. 17 from it.

Both teams have the same problem in the top order with DC's Jake Fraser-McGurk and Faf du Plessis haven't exacly set the stage on fire with the former having trouble getting off to a good start. Mumbai are even in worse condition with Rohit Sharma in dismal form while Ryan Rickleton has just a 50+ score this season. 

Murali Kartik and Danny Morrison in the pitch report says that there's straw coloured grass on the pitch with visible cracks. It's not exactly flat so they reckon the team winning the toss should opt to bat first.

“This is my ground, this is my home. I know this better than anybody else," KL Rahul had said after conquering Chinnaswamy in his last match against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Delhi has been on the receiving end of duststorms for the last two days with Mumbai Indians having to abandon their practice. Sunday is expected to be different though with negligible chance of rain and the temperature hovering around 32 degrees.

Since moving to the Capitals, Rahul has been in one of his best scoring streaks in a long time, smashing an unbeaten vs RCB and scoring a gritty 77 against CSK.

Meanwhile, in the other match of the day, Rajasthan Royals posted 173/4 against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Jaipur courtesy of a 75-run knock by Yashasvi Jaiswal. Chasing, RCB began in blistering fashoin with Phil Salt scoring a 28-ball half century and the franchise reaching 82 runs in 8 overs without the loss of any wicket.
