Virat Kohli named BCCI cricketer of the year 2014-15

India’s Test captain Virat Kohli will be presented with The Polly Umrigar Award, given to the cricketer of the year. Syed Kirmani, former India stumper, has been nominated for the Col. CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award.

Karnataka State Cricket Association has been chosen as the state association of the year for achieving the treble of winning the Ranji Trophy, Irani Cup and Vijay Hazare Trophy in the 2014-15 season.
