How to solve a word search puzzle Make sure to look left, right, vertical and diagonal on the grid. Clues can be very specific, so read carefully. Keep an eye on any puns. If an answer has uncommon letters (W, X, J etc.), find them first, then look for the corresponding word built around them. Your speed affects scoring, so skip all clues you don't know at first.
