Bihar Police to seek cancellation of Pappu Yadav’s bail, will move HC

Senior Superintendent of Police Vikas Vaibhav said they would send a proposal to Patna High Court for cancellation of the bail to the three leaders.

“Pappu Yadav has been disrupting city life with his protests. Recently, two cases were lodged against him. The High Court has directed that all protests be held at a designated place at Gardanibagh. Holding demonstrations in the city is violation of that order,” said the SSP.

He added that Anant Singh and Ritlal Yadav pose threat to some people and the police would seek the cancellation of bail they have got in some of the cases against them.

Reacting to the development, Pappu Yadav said: “Patna police is trying to violate human rights. I would also move the High Court against any such proposal by police”.

He accused the district police of targeting people selectively on the instructions of the state government.

The Madhepura MP is all set to field candidates in Kosi and Seemchal belts of Saharsa, Madhepura, Supaul, Purnea and Araria.
