Liberhan Commission
The editorial in the latest issue of Organiser, titled A take on Liberhan says: The voluminous report of the Liberhan Commission has neither relevance nor weightage today on the Ayodhya issue. The Commission was set up as a political reaction by an inept Central government to mollify the clamouring crowd of Hindu-bashing secularists after the demolition of the structure that went around in the name of the foreign invader Babar. Coming 17 years after it was set up,the report at best may be an interesting source material. Its only claim to fame seems to be that it is the longest of commissions. But the Congress seems to be keen on flogging the dead political horse. Its spokesman Digvijay Singh jumped the gun and blamed the BJP and RSS leaders for the demolition even before the commissions findings had been made known and some even demanded arrests. It may do well to remember that the criminal case on this issue and the dispute over the ownership of the land where the structure was situated are still pending in the courts.
Family virtues
A news item titled Individualistic thinking; root cause of all problems, says: RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Suresh Soni has described individualistic thinking as the root cause of most of the problems in the world. The first year Varga concluded the same day at Geeta Bal Bharati School in Shankar Nagar. Uttar Kshetra Sanghachalak Dr Bajranglal Gupt addressed the concluding ceremony of this Varga.
The news item adds: Referring to the unique joint family system of Bharat,Shri Soni said if any member in the joint family is trapped in any problem the whole family starts resolving his problem and in this way the problem of one member becomes the problem of the whole family. The world will have to adopt this system any day if it has to get rid of the problems. Soni quoted the speech of US president Barack Obama in which he said if the people of US did not change their life-style the people of Bharat would dominate over them. Dr Bajranglal Gupt said no country could make progress if it does not have power and self-respect. A total of 301 swayamsevaks underwent training at the first year Varga.
