.

Younis Khan returned to the Pakistan squad for the final ODI against Bangladesh and denied reports that his pullout from the previous two matches was in protest of the questioning that he was subjected to by the ICC Anti-Corruption and Security Unit.

Younis also denied reports that his pullout was a result of differences in the team.

8220;Some things did happen that were not to my liking but they didn8217;t force me to rest for the last two games. Neither do I have any differences with anyone in the team,8221; Younis said.

8220;All these rumors and reports that I left the team because I had problems with the board and my fellow players and team officials are not true. I just had to attend to a personal problem and also wanted a break,8221; he claimed.

Younis reiterated he had to attend a personal issue and also wanted a break from the game.

He was on Thursday named in the Pakistan squad after making himself available to the national selectors.

The media had reported that Younis8217; sudden withdrawal from the team had something to do with him not being happy at the attitude of the Pakistan Cricket Board PCB when the ACU officer interviewed him, Danish Kaneria and Umar Gul.

Younis and the two other players were grilled by the ACU officer, Alan Peacock about their relationship with an Indian national who is suspected to be a bookmaker by the ACU and Indian CBI.

The man is said to have traveled on some tours of the Pakistan team and was close to the players.

Younis didn8217;t comment on the ACU questioning but said he was keen to continue playing for his country.

8220;Whatever I am today it is because of my country. So there is no question of me being big headed or ungrateful. I love playing for Pakistan and I will continue to do so until I feel I can contribute to the team,8221; Younis said.
