CHANDIGARH, May 25: Local Youth Congress leaders under the chairmanship of Chandigarh Youth Congress president Vijaypal Singh Dimpy, in a meeting held here today, took a serious note of the alleged interference of CTCC members in the functioning of the Youth Congress.

The leaders unanimously demanded disciplinary action against such leaders who were promoting and creating dissidence in the party.

In a letter to Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Indian Youth Congress president Manish Tewari, they alleged the existence of a parallel youth body in the City, which was creating problems in the functioning of the local Youth Congress. The leaders also criticised the former Youth Congress presidents who had held a meeting yesterday and alleged that two of the three organisers had criminal cases registered against them

.Among the youth leaders present at today’s meet included Kanwar, A P Singh, Sunil Sharma, Vikram Sharma, Gurvinder Pal Singh, Amarjit Singh Gujral, Mukesh Bassi and Jaswinder Walia.
