
If RJD workers thought that the Chintan Shivir to discuss party issues would afford them a chance to meet Lalu Prasad Yadav, they were in for a disappointment. Having faced police action at Lalu8217;s residence in Delhi while trying to meet him, several party workers invited to the camp planned to tell Lalu that he had to change his manner of functioning and that he needed to start meeting his workers the way he did earlier. But it was easier said than done. He was on the dais only to make a speech and then retreated to this 8220;railway saloon8221;8212;unlike other RJD leaders who had to make do with the arrangements made by the party. To make matters worse, rain disrupted the event, further distancing the leader from his party activists. Due to the rains, the organisers had to shift the venue to a college where Lalu sat on the verandah of the first floor to address the party workers assembled on the lawns. Lalu may not be on the right track, but who will fly the red flag?
