Berlo is Superman,says new book
LONDON: More than three months after Silvio Berlusconi was attacked at a political rally in Milan,his own publishing firm has released a new book celebrating the 73-year-old Italian Prime Minister as Superman. The book,Love Always Wins Over Envy and Hatred,contains emotional messages likening Berlusconi to Superman,after his show of strength when a man hurled a small statue at his face in Milan in December,breaking his nose and smashing two teeth,The Daily Telegraph reported. Even with kryptonite they couldnt knock you down! wrote one supporter perhaps an allusion to the fact that Berlusconi has previously described himself as Superman. However,the book,which is on sale for Euro 15,was mocked as The little white book of Silvio Ceausescu by the Left-leaning Repubblica newspaper.

LONDON: Dog wash will never be the same again,thanks to scientists who have developed a washing machine for pets,which is the latest canine grooming craze to hit Japan. The washing machine gives pets an automatic drenching with warm water and a blow-dry. The 33-minute process includes a shampoo,a rinse and a dry. And,the process uses pure ozone water and is entirely safe,say its developers. In fact,it is proving to be a boon for pets in Japan where owners are washing their dogs and cats in the automated machines to save money in the recession. The machine washes and blow dries dogs and cats for the equivalent of just 3.50 a massive saving on the costs of pet stylists who charge more than 20 for a full wash and blow-dry,the media reported.
