Why not an SIT to probe anti-Sikh riots cases: SAD

Demanding the setting up of a Special Investigation Team SIT to probe the anti-Sikh riots,Shiromani Akali Dal SAD on Sunday said if such a team could be formed to look into the post-Godhra riots then why could the government not do the same in this case.

When day to day hearing can be ordered in 2002 Gujarat riots and Chief Minister Narendra Modi can be summoned for questioning by the SIT,why the UPA government is reluctant to ensure expeditious justice to 7,000 Sikhs families waiting for the last 25 years, asked Daljit Singh Cheema,Secretary,SAD. He added that people had lost faith in CBIs impartiality.
