When Big B left Rajinikanth fans fuming

A casual tweet by Amitabh Bachchan had fans of Rajinikanth fuming a few days ago. He posted a tweet,which said,Someone sent me this on mobile When Graham Bell discovered the telephone,he found two missed calls from Rajinikanth!! Brilliant. The humour,however,did not go down well with several fans of the southern superstar,who saw it as an insult to their cine idol. Bachchan was quick to follow with a clarification. He responded on Twitter,saying Not making fun of him,praising his status and his greatness,he is noble successful humble person,and revered like a God.

Incidentally,the two actors have been firm friends ever since they worked together in Andhaa Kaanoon and Hum years ago. The Bollywood superstar had even organised a special screening of Paa for Rajinikanth. They are also set to appear together on the big screen in R Balkis next directorial venture.
