What happens when a VVIP decides to be a commoner? Since getting the dignitary to the common man can be a problem, its easier to rustle up some common men to be with him or her. Thats what happened on voting day at Rashtrapati Bhawan. President Pratibha Patil was to cast her vote at a school in the Presidential Estate, along with other employees. While arrangements for the President were made in a classroom where nobody could go,Patil said she wanted to stand in a queue, for a photo-op,along with others. The security personnel were in a fix, till someone came up with a bright idea and ordered those queuing up outside the adjoining room to stand in front of the room set aside for the President. It was done, and Patils photo was duly taken while she was standing in a queue. The deed done for posterity, the others were sent back to their original queue.
