Two persons from minority community were killed reportedly because of communal tension at a Jamui village on Monday night. One person has also gone missing.
The incident took place around 9 pm soon after immersion of Goddess Saraswati idol at the Muslim-dominated Garhi village. Some five assailants,said to be Naxals,shot dead Mohammed Karu and Mohammed Sayyed. One Mohammed Jabbar is missing.

Jamui SP Upendra Sharma said: As of now,we can confirm only two killings. SLR was used in killings. We are getting forensic reports. He ruled out communal tension.
