A clear mandate for the Congress-led UPA notwithstanding, one of the governments law officers appeared just a tad jittery when asked by a Supreme Court judge to accept the notice in a case against the Government. The Government is resigning today,it would not be proper for me to accept the notice, Additional Solicitor General Amrendra Saran said as Justice Markandeya Katju asked him to accept the notice.
