Tin,copper decline on sluggish demand

Copper scrap heavy slid by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 446 from Rs 450.

Tin,copper and select brass prices slipped at the non-ferrous metal market here today on subdued demand from stockist as well as industrial users. While,brass sheet cutting edged up on better offtake from consumer industries.

Tin price dropped by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,325 from last Saturday’s closing level of Rs 1,335 and Copper scrap price heavy slid by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 446 from Rs 450.

Brass utensils scrap slid Rs 3 per kg to Rs 305 from last weekend close of Rs 308.

Copper cable scrap,copper armiture,copper wirebar and copper sheet cutting all went down by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 455,Rs 440,Rs 483 and Rs 435 respectively.

Copper utensils scrap also softened by a rupee per kg to Rs 419.

However,Brass sheet cutting inched up by Re 1 per kg to Rs 314 from Rs 313 previously.
