The pitfalls of being an MP

After monkey trouble,late-running trains and flights,MPs have something else to complain about the civic administration. Kerala MP P C Chacko got a taste of the real Delhi recently when he fell into a pit outside his 18,Windsor Place official residence. Chacko slipped into the pit as he stepped outside to welcome guests for a get-together at his residence. Eyewitnesses say the MP,who is also Chairman of the Committee of Privileges,was seen frantically calling up CPWD officials to get the pit covered after the incident. Interestingly,some of the Union Ministers from Kerala had also reached Chackos residence for the luncheon.
