Alleging that General V K Singh had made repeated defamatory remarks against him in his recent book,Lt Gen retired Tejinder Singh has once again sought cancellation of bail granted to the former Army Chief in the defamation case.
Tejinder Singh had earlier filed two similar applications,following which Metropolitan Magistrate Jay Thareja in an order on October 3 had warned the former Army Chief against making defamatory remarks against him,saying it would lead to cancellation of his bail.
In the application filed Monday before the court,Tejinder Singh alleged that V K Singh has in his autobiography Courage and Conviction made certain defamatory accusations against him despite the restraint order.
Despite the aforesaid order dated October 3,2013 passed by this court,the accused V K Singh repeated defamatory accusations and remarks against the complainant Tejinder on page numbers 308,309,310 and 330,331 and 332 of his autobiography titled as Courage and Conviction: General V K Singh,a book written by the accused8230;and released on second week of November 2013, said the plea filed through advocate Anil Aggarwal.
The court has scheduled the hearing on the plea on November 28.
