TDP-led team to address farmers issues

Eight political parties,including TDP and those from Left front,on Monday formed a coordination committee along with farmers outfits to raise grave issues related to the agriculture sector and demanded allotment of Rs 1 lakh crore for infrastructure purpose.

The committee,to be headed by TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu,will organise seminars and conventions across the country on farmers issues and draw the Centres attention towards the gravest situation of agrarian crisis.

Besides TDP,the committee will be represented by political parties such as CPI,CPM,JDU,JDS,INLD,RSP and Forward Bloc and various farmers organisations.
