Former Union Minister Mani Shankar Aiyar was not happy with the Panchayati Raj portfolio that he had got in the UPAs first term and remained a constant rebel within the government. And going by his reaction at a television programme recently,where he was on a panel with Praful Bidwai,Aiyar still does not fail to take a dig. To a question on the candlelight event at India Gate to commemorate those who had lost their lives in the 26/11 terror attacks,he quipped: The government in its wisdom decided not to make me Home Minister. Therefore,I will not comment.
