Sun Pharma gets approval for anti-depressant

Sun Pharma received US regulatory approval to market a generic version of GlaxoSmithKline's Wellbutrin SR extended release tablets.

Drugmaker Sun Pharmaceuticals said on Thursday its unit had received US regulatory approval to market a generic version of GlaxoSmithKline8217;s Wellbutrin SR extended release tablets.

These tablets are used in the treatment of depressive disorders,it said in a statement.
