SP gags leaders,only 4 can speak to media

The SP has restricted its leaders from speaking to the media while authorising four leaders party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav,UP CM Akhilesh Yadav,general secretary Ramgopal Yadav and UP spokesperson Rajendra Choudhary to do the job.

Views of leaders other than the four can be their personal opinion and cant be regarded as official version of SP,the gag order said.

The move comes after several leaders embarrassed the party with their utterances. The most recent being the admission by Sarojini Agarwal that Amit Jani,the chief of UP Navnirman Sena and the man behind decapitation of Mayawatis statue,is a member of the party though the SP claimed otherwise.
