Show how EVMs can be tampered with: Poll panel

A Hyderabad-based NGO had recently petitioned the Supreme Court on the issue,but the apex court,while disposing of the petition,asked them to go to the EC. The Commission has replied to the petitioners on July 31,reiterating its invitation to them to come and demonstrate the points made in their allegations about possible tampering of EVMs,preferably in the week starting from August 3, added the statement. Those who have made petitions before the Courts have been invited for the purpose along with the political parties who have written to the Commission. The demonstration will be done in the presence of a technical experts group as well as engineers representing the EVM manufacturers8230; said the statement.
