Sandisk expands product portfolio

Sandisk launched SanDisk Memory Vault,which it claims would be able to store data in its original quality for up to 100 years.

Storage solutions firm SanDisk today launched a slew of new products for various devices like mobile phones,cameras,notebooks and tablets,expanding its product portfolio in the country.

8220;Our flash storage solutions help consumers capture more photos,load their mobile apps faster,share exciting moments with friends and preserve their memories for generations to come,8221; SanDisk Country Manager and Director India and SAARC Manisha Sood told reporters here.

The company declined to comment on financial details since it does not disclose country-specific numbers.

Sandisk launched SanDisk Memory Vault,which it claimed would be able to store data in its original quality for up to 100 years. The device is priced at Rs 3,499 8GB and Rs 5,499 16GB.

It has launched 64GB SanDisk Extreme Pro memory cards for photography enthusiasts. The card8217;s up to 90 megabyte per second MB/sec write speeds lets photographers capture a series of raw images using burst mode,the company said.

The cards,available in 8GB to 64GB capacities,are priced between Rs 2,199 and Rs 16,299.

Sandisk has also launched products for smartphones and tablets priced between Rs 899 4GB to Rs 14,799 64GB,USB flash drives priced between Rs 249 4GB and Rs 749 16GB.
