RGV to direct Telugu film after over a decade

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma will direct a Telugu movie after over a decade. Actress Sridevi,her husband Boney Kapoor and actor Nagarjuna were present on August 27 in Hyderabad at the muhurtam ceremony of the film titled Kadha-Screenplay-Darsakatvam: Appalaraju,that has Telugu comedian Sunil in the lead role.

The film,a comedy,is the story of a young man from Amalapuram who comes to Hyderabad to make a movie.

Though Varma began his career with Telugu film Siva,he moved to Mumbai subsequently. His last Telugu film was Prema Katha,made over a decade ago. Sridevi has featured in two Telugu films of his Kshana Kshanam and Govinda Govinda.
