Paramilitary forces need change of uniform to attract youth,says Shinde

Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde on Saturday said he intends to change the uniform of the paramilitary forces to make them more attractive for the youth to join.

Youngsters have an attraction for the uniform. I am planning to change the uniform of the paramilitary forces so that more youngsters join the paramilitary forces, Shinde said,addressing a gathering while inaugurating a new campus for the National Disaster Response Force.

The remarks came a day after Shinde reportedly said that policemen should not look like old men.
