Now,police say 2 CMOs killed by same man

It claims Arya was killed by the same men who later killed his successor CMO Dr B P Singh.

Seven months after claiming to have solved the murder of Family Welfare CMO Dr Venod Arya,the police have come out with a new set of accused. It claims Arya was killed by the same men who later killed his successor CMO Dr B P Singh.

The latest claim is based on the cellphone records and the ballistic report of the two weapons seized from Ram Krishna Verma,Anand Prakash Tiwari and Vinod Sharma,who were arrested on June 17 for Singhs murder.

Arya was shot dead by motorcycle riders when he was taking a morning walk near his residence on October 27 last year. Singh was shot in a similar manner on April 2.

On Thursday,Additional Session Judge Bhagwan Deo Mishra

remanded all three accused in judicial custody on an application moved by investigating officer Zahir Khan.

In his application,the IO informed the court that during interrogation,Tiwari had confessed his involvement,along with his two associates,in Aryas murder as well.
