Nothing wrong in Hooda govt chargesheeting Khemka: Cong

Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda has approved the chargesheet against Khemka.

The Congress on Thursday did not see anything wrong in the Haryana government preparing to move a second chargesheet against IAS officer Ashok Khemka, saying the state government has the right to take administrative action as it has found “administrative deviations” in the officer’s performance or behaviour.

“If the Haryana government has found administrative deviations in Khemka’s performance or behaviour, then I am afraid it has the right to take administrative steps,” Congress spokesperson Renuka Chowdhary said.

The Indian Express had reported Thursday that Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda has approved the chargesheet against Khemka holding him responsible for the alleged low sale of wheat seeds during his stint as MD of HSDC.
