Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Tuesday appealed to various political parties,organisations and individuals not to issue any provocative statements

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Tuesday appealed to various political parties,organisations and individuals not to issue any provocative statements. He also called for an end to bandhs,saying these only increase the temperature. Addressing a press conference,Gogoi said: I appeal to all parties to maintain restraint8230;desist from making any kind of statements that would provoke violence and worsen the situation.
