Asserting that aspirations of the Anglo-Indian community would be looked at,Minority Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid Sunday said we need to work on the countrys micro-minorities.
As former US president John F Kennedy said ask not what the country can do for you; ask what you can do for the country, Khurshid told the National Convention of Anglo-Indians here, terming them the intellectual leaders of the country.
He said some states and the Centre would soon be looking at the 3,000 communities that are there in the 27 per cent quota for OBCs. Demanding a serious look into the schemes of the minorities,Kerala MP Charles Dias advocated a caste census to determine the exact number of Anglo-Indians.
