Modi stalling Lokayukta to hide ‘black deeds’: Cong

Stepping up its attack on Narendra Modi,the Congress Saturday alleged that he was stalling the appointment of the Lokayukta in Gujarat to conceal his “black deeds”.

The salvo came two days after the Supreme Court rejected the Modi government’s plea to review its judgment upholding Justice R A Mehta’s appointment as the Gujarat Lokayukta. The verdict,Congress spokesperson Raj Babbar said,has exposed Modi’s “hyped self-righteousness and the hypocrisy of BJP”.

On senior BJP leader Nitin Gadkari seeking action against journalists for “wrong reporting” on Modi’s burqa remark,Babbar said,“This is the culture of Hitler and Goebbels. In Hitler’s line of thinking,those who support them are fine but the rest have to face the music.”
