Midnight in Paris

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan8217;s red carpet appearance at Cannes yesterday in a midnight blue-slate grey Elie Saab couture gown got her a thumbs up from a majority of bloggers.

Good choice sure,but we aren8217;t so excited about the matching cobalt blue nailpolish. A nude would have looked dazzling and given it more contemporary edge. A gold bangle that Ash has been wearing since she reached Cannes peeps out here too but its her hair8211;once again8211;like in her first appearance two days back that makes up for what8217;s missing.

The lady is self-conscious as always but I love the fact that she decided to come out here8211;ready to be judged by the best cameras and the most cynical glamour critics in the world regardless of her un-diva kilos.

At the same time,I am getting tired of the 8220;Is Aishwarya Looking Good or Not8221; debate. Big deal,huh?
