Pakistan on Thursday said that the most-favoured nation MFN status cant be granted to India at a time when there is tension on the borders.
Minister of state for education Muhammad Balighur Rehman told the National Assembly or lower House of the countrys Parliament that there had been significant progress since the two countries held talks on the MFN issue during the year 2011-12.
However,Rehman,who was speaking on behalf of the minister of state for privatisation,said it was not possible to grant MFN-status to India at a time when there is continuing tension on the borders.
