India has come out in support of its counsel general in New York,who is facing allegations of slavery and sexual harassment by a former employee. We are disappointed and deeply concerned that Indian diplomats and their family members,should be targeted in such a manner in a friendly country like USA, an MEA spokesperson said in a statement.
