Daya Master,who hails from in Puloly in Vadamardchy region,started his career as a private tutor in English.
amp;149;In the early 1990s,he had began working with the LTTE. It was said that Thillayampalan Sivanesan alias Soosai,the special commander of the Sea Tigers who was earlier the LTTE head of the Vadamardchy division,brought Daya Master to the attention of the outfits leader Vellupillai Prabhakaran.
amp;149;Daya went on to become the chief LTTE media coordinator. He was one of the few Tiger leaders to travel to Colombo for medical treatment during peace talks with the Government. In July 2006,he underwent heart surgery at a private hospital near the capital,which also sparked a controversy and protests by ultra-nationalist groups outside the hospital.

V K Pancharatnam better known as George was a close aide of slain Tiger political wing chief S P Tamilchelvan and worked as the translator of the LTTE.

amp;149;Fluent in Sinhalese and an excellent communicator in English,George was in the LTTE delegations which travelled to Thailand,Japan,Norway and Germany for six rounds of abortive peace talks with the government between 2002 and 2003.
