Kumar appointed DG of National Library,Kolkata
NEW DELHI: P Y Rajendra Kumar was appointed as Director General,National Library,Kolkata,by the Ministry of Culture Friday. He will serve as the DG for a term of three years. Kumar has earlier worked in Department of Public Libraries,Karnataka,and retired as its Director. He also worked as Consultant (Admn) at IGNCA,SRC,Bangalore. ENS
IndiGo flight makes emergency landing
Nagpur: A Delhi-Hyderabad Indigo flight was forced to make an emergency landing at a Nagpur airport on Friday after a passenger suffered from a cardiac problem,airport sources said. The passenger,Neelratan,complained of uneasiness in his chest. The plane made an unscheduled landing at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport,they said. He was admitted to a private cardiac hospital. PTI
