Kasab in pain,judge orders proper care

Ajmal Kasab,the only terrorist captured alive after the 26/11 attack,complained of a stomachache in court on Thursday and the judge directed the Arthur Road Jail authorities to carry out a proper check-up. Kasab ,who looked like he was in pain during the second session of the court proceedings,said,Sir mujhein cell mein jane dijeye,pet mein dard ho raha hai Allow me to go to my cell I have a pain in my stomach. Judge M L Tahaliyani then asked him,Is it paining too much? to which he replied ,Ji sir,cell mein jakei aaram karna hai Yes I want to go and relax in my cell.

Special public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam intervened to say that Kasab had been diagnosed with stomach ulcers when he was in the custody of the crime branch. Judge M L Tahaliyani then told Kasab: Please wait for five minutes till the recording of the evidence is over and immediately after that I will send you to your cell. He directed the court officer to inform the jail superintendent to take proper care of Kasab.
