JSPL promoter pledges 13 lakh shares

Jindal Steel amp; Power Ltd JSPL today said one of its promoter entities has pledged 13 lakh shares.

In a disclosure to BSE,JSPL said its promoter Opelina Finance and Investment pleged the shares on March 19 in favour of Infrastructure Development Finance Company IDFC,the filing said.

Post pleding,Opelina Finance and Investment8217;s shareholding in JSPL came down to 6.85 per cent from earlier 6.99,it said.

Shares of JSPL were trading at Rs 531.55 a piece,up 0.88 per cent compared to the previous close on the BSE.
