Jharkhand nuns mobile found,cops look for clues

The police have found the mobile phone of Sister Valsa John,five days after the nun was allegedly hacked to death by a group of people.

We have found the mobile set last night. We are trying to get the call details to close in on the investigation into the incident, a senior police official said here on Saturday.

According to her close aides,though Sister John had contacted the police when she noticed that the group of about 35 assailants were about to attack her on Tuesday night,there was no response from them.

The police have detained seven persons for questioning on Friday.

In a related development,Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has written a letter to his Jharkhand counterpart Arjun Munda,seeking action in the case.
