Jay Soni,Ishaan of Sasural Genda Phool,is all set to host the new season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs. Talking about this opportunity, the actor says,I always wanted to do everything possible on screen,be it dancing, singing, acting or anchoring. Thus,I readily took on this new role. I have grown up watching Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Antakshari on Zee TV with my family. Now they are going to watch me in the show. I am waiting for it to go on air to see how I have fared. The actor states that he did not have to do any homework as he believes that one cannot prepare for the role of an anchor. He says that it is all about spontaneity and being natural. One needs to be able to connect with the contestants and the judges instantly and go with the flow. He also constantly takes inputs from the creative team to better himself as he is new to anchoring. The previous seasons kid-hosts Afsha and Dhairya are Jays co-hosts. Talking about this association, the actor says,The audiences can expect loads of dhamaal and masti from our association! Afsha is such a motor mouth that one has to beg her to stop talking and Dhairya is such a sweet, cute and well-behaved boy that he has already become like a younger brother to me. I have bonded well with both the kids. The show is yet to be scheduled but is slated to go on air from the last week of May on Zee TV.
