India Yamaha Motor sales up 5

In the domestic market,the company8217;s sales stood at 39,368 units during the month,as against 38,229 units in October last year,up 2.98 per cent increase.

Exports of India Yamaha rose by 12.68 per cent to 10,154 units during the month from 9,011 units in the year-ago period,it added.

8220;We are very pleased with the sales growth that we have witnessed in the past month on account of our strong product portfolio,new launch in the scooter segment with Ray and high customer confidence in us,8221; India Yamaha Motor Director Sales and Marketing Jun Nakata said.

The new scooter Ray has received very good response from the customers,he added.
