Thanks to Human Resource Development Minister Arjun Singh,the Indian Institute of Management-Lucknow has remained headless for the last six months. Weeks after the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet ACC decided to give an extension to former director Prof Devi Singh,there is no official order to this effect. The HRD Minister,who has been aggressively pushing for Prof D K Bandhopadhyays appointment to the coveted post,has managed to stall the ACCs decision.
