If you disown Rao,disown PM too: Amar

During the debate on Liberhan Commission report in the Upper House,Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh attacked both the BJP and the Congress and his sarcastic barbs had BJP MPs on their feet.

Singh added that even the then PM P V Narasimha Rao should not have been spared. If you disown Rao,also disown Manmohan Singh8230; you cant take credit for the good and reject all negative aspects. If you take credit for liberalisation of the economy that happened under Rao,you cannot disown him on this issue8230; 90 per cent of the present Cabinet consists of ministers who were in Raos cabinet, he added.

Amid a series of interruptions,Singh demanded that those alleged to have had a role in the Babri demolition should be brought to justice through a fast track court. He added that though former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a highly respected leader,he couldnt be exonerated since he had made comments suggesting that the disputed structure be levelled to the ground only a few days before the demolition.
