ICFe makes an effort to educate disadvantaged youth!

In an effort to bridge the education gap between the haves and the have-nots,ICFe is set to provide skill based training to the deprived children.

In an effort to bridge the education gap between the haves and the have-nots,ICFe Institute of Computer and Finance Executives and renowned Delhi based NGO Prayas, have joined hands to leverage each others strength and expertise under ICFes CSR initiative Koshish,to provide skill based training to the deprived children and thereafter locate employment opportunities for these trained students.

ICFe having the competence to deliver quality skill based training and employment opportunities and Prayas working towards the aim of enabling and empowering people to improve their lives target to provide training to nearly 5,000 students from the underprivileged-backward classes such as SC/ST,Muslim girls, orphans and children of war widows.

Prayas is playing an important role of facilitating Koshish by identifying those marginalized students of the society who can and are keen to undertake these job oriented trainings at minimum cost. The students will be given industry specific training in Banking,Finance,Soft Skills and Insurance BFSI and later placement assistance by ICFe. The average cost per student ranges from Rs.16,000 8211; Rs.32,000 depending upon the nature and duration of the course. In this initiative,ICFe Nexgen is subsidizing the cost by 50 under its CSR initiative and the rest will be sponsored by the PSUs,Corporate houses and philanthropists under their CSR.

True economic growth of the country in the holistic sense cannot be achieved without the necessary upliftment of the marginalized sections of the population. Since, initiatives need to be taken, the entire programme Koshish is structured towards improving livelihood and empowering the economic condition of these people.

In opinion of Amod Kanth,General Secretary Prayas, the only way to move forward and execute such noble causes it is important that the social sector and the corporate sector become partners.

According to Santosh Mangal,CMD,Nexgen,We believe that inclusive growth is a must to remove the wide ranging disparities in our society and thats why we have initiated this program. We are thankful to Prayas for coming forward to support and guide our initiative.

Mangal added that Efforts are required at the level of civil societies to generate awareness and develop strategies for socially inclusive growth. The gap between the supply of skilled services from the marginalized section and the fulfillment of industry demand must be bridged for socially inclusive growth. Our CSR initiative Koshish launched last year has just been a step in this direction .
