Huge graft in armed forces: Anna

Addressing the media in Satara on Sunday,social activist Anna Hazare alleged that there was huge corruption in the armed forces. There is huge amount of corruption in the armed forces. If the armed forces are brought under the purview of RTI and information is obtained,I am sure corruption worth hundreds of crores will be revealed, Hazare said.

He mentioned the leaked letter of the Army Chief to the Prime Minister regarding the ill preparedness of the Army. He said it was a right step on the part of the Army Chief to write such a letter to the PM.

Declining to comment on inclusion of the PM in Team Annas list of corrupt ministers,he said: I will discuss this issue in the core committee meeting on June 3 and 4 with my associates.
