Hong Kong stocks finished lower on Wednesday,with losses accelerating in later trade.

Hong Kong stocks finished lower on Wednesday,with losses accelerating in later trade after Moody8217;s said it may downgrade Spain8217;s debt,and oil counters seeing profit-taking after recent gains.

The Hang Seng Index fell 1.95 per cent to 22,975.35,wiping out all of its gains for the week,although the decline came on still tepid turnover as investors continued to trim risk from their portfolios and locked in profit on some of the year8217;s top performers.
