Harshad-Anupriya in Tere Liye

Harshad Chopra and Anupriya Kapoor have been finalised as the lead of Ekta Kapoor’s new love saga Tere Liye to be aired on Star Plus. The duo will essay the roles of lovebirds Anurag and Taani in the serial. Harshad was last seen in Balaji Telefilms’ Kis Des Mein Hai Dil Mera as Prem. Anupriya is the girl who was chosen as the lead for Ekta’s Beytaab Dil Ki Tamanna on Sony but was replaced even before the serial went on air. However,all’s well that ends well. Now,it remains to be seen if the Anurag-Tani jodi will recreate the magic of Sujal-Kashish of Kahin Toh Hoga and Anurag-Prerna of Kasauti Zindagi Kay.

Television actress Delnaz Paul is making a comeback to Gujarati theatre after a decade with her new play Kunvaro Lakhno Parnelo Savalakhno. She is currently in Ahmedabad touring with her troupe for this play. She will be seen as a village belle in it,a far cry from her usual gorgeous look. “I play the role of Dingli,an overweight gaon ki gori from Porbunder. She is a vibrant,loud,rustic character,” Delnaz says excitedly. She along with director Umesh Shukla conceived and designed Dingli’s look. The effervescent actress also underwent two months of rigorous rehearsal to get into the skin of the character. Apart from this,Delnaz is also seen in Disney’s Kya Mast Hai Life,where she plays “a super sexy mom”. She is also upbeat about her forthcoming films including Yeh Dooriyan directed by telly actress Deepshikha Nagpal,Boney Kapoor’s Milenge Milenge and Toonpur Ka Super Hero. She also plays a cameo opposite Vinay Pathak in Utt Patang.
